Building Assessment

Code Investigation: Identifies deficiencies of a building or space with respect to various code requirements. These codes may include federal regulations, state building and fire codes, accessibility for the disabled (including ADA), health codes and building use-specific regulations such as childcare or public education facilities.

Building Investigation: The exterior is investigated for decay and deterioration affecting the exterior, interior or both. Possible causes could include insects, weather, and /or inappropriate use of materials or alterations to the area. This type of report usually identifies the problems, offers solutions and provides preliminary costs. Another use of this service may be to investigate and document deficiencies or spatial restrictions prior to the initiation of a proposed project.
